Local Attractions
The land on which Weston stands was first mentioned in the Domesday Book. The principal survivor of those times is the park which now forms part of the Medieval deer forest.
The land was at first held by the de Westons of Weston and later by the Mytton family who were to have a fundamental impact on the history of Weston.Weston Park is one of the most welcoming stately homes with as much character as any English castle and with as many stories as any royal home.

Rally Information & Report
Following a couple of last minute non arrivals 7 vans enjoyed a dry and mostly sunny weekend at Weston Park, the house and grounds were not open to the public but the club was given access to the grounds and gardens, which we all took advantage of. Saturday evening we had a communal barbecue followed by an evening in the tent with a small gas heater (cheers Roger) and lantern for light.
