An ideal location for visiting the many attractions on our ‘doorstep’. These include the Conkers visitor centre, Moira Furnace and the canal network.

Suggested Route

Take A444 to Overseal then the second left onto the B5003 signed Moira. Miners Welfare is on the right opposite the rear entrance to ‘Conkers’. Look out for rally signs.

The Welfare Centre is a club for ex miners of the area and we can use the bar at any time. This years rally coincides with Conkers fireworks display on the Saturday evening.
