M6 Jct19 onto A556 Chester road, tn immediate right on B5391, within 0.5mile fork right then tn left onto Budworth road and follow rally signs

Local Attractions
Arley Hall is one of the most interesting and attractive stately homes in the North West. The elaborate ceilings & oak panelling, impressive fireplaces, intricate stained glass and beautiful contents are not the only features which make Arley Hall so special. Amongst the finest in Britain and Europe the gardens have been created over the last 250 years by successive generations of the same family and thus offer an unusual blend of long history and traditional design with inspired modern ideas and additions.

Weather reports for the weekend were not very good but this didnt put anybody off comming neither did the tailbacks on the M6 with members finding alternate routes. Saturday saw the usual gang walk to Great Budworth which was a very pretty little village and the locals were only eager to give info about their village. Some went round the gardens at Arley Hall and said that it was worth the visit. The site was in a very good setting and is well worth another visit in the future.
